Welcome to Big Sky Retreat! Come away from the everyday chaos to this serene, picturesque location. Savor the peace, and expansive views from every window of the house. Take in the stunning Rockies while enjoying the hot tub on the wide south facing front deck, and wake in the morning to the spectacular sunrise and pastoral valley views to the north and east. Have your own private viewing of the northern lights when they occur. Enjoy easy access to both Calgary and Banff!

The house is within easy driving distance to both Calgary and the Rocky Mountains...Kananaskis Country/Canmore/Banff/Lake Louise. It's 30 minutes to downtown Calgary, 30 minutes to the Calgary International Airport, 30 minutes to Kananaskis, 60 minutes to Banff and Sunshine Village and Mt. Norquay for skiing. The drive to the mountains is a lovely and scenic treat in and of itself!
This spacious yet cozy three-bedroom, 1.5 bath home on several acres is just far enough away to allow you to unplug, unwind, and relax, while still being close to all amenities. The perfect place to come home to after a day of skiing or playing in the mountains!
★KITCHEN
Well stocked with cooking utensils and includes some basics such as tea, coffee, seasonings, sugar, etc.
★LIVING ROOM
Features a large south-facing picture window, smart TV (no cable or satellite) and lots of comfy seating.
★BEDROOMS
BDRM 1: pillow top king. BDRM 2: pillow top queen. BDRM 3: cozy single. NOTE: Bdrm window coverings are not blackout.
★BATHROOMS
The main bath is appointed with a tub and shower (combo) and is stocked with basic toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel, lotion and shaving cream. There is a half bath as well.

Guests can enjoy the entire property and main floor of the house. The property line behind the house is marked with fencing but there is open access to the neighboring property below. Please respect this boundary. The basement is unoccupied and not part of the rental contract.

★Watch out for wildlife, and enjoy the animals from a distance, for safety's sake. You may see moose, deer, foxes, coyotes, skunks, porcupines and more.
★Children are welcome however, please note that the house and property are not fully childproofed. Children must be closely supervised at all times. Please ask if you have specific questions.
★Good winter tires is all that's needed for accessing the property during the snow season.
★Though not ALWAYS fierce, winds on the hill can be swift and sudden, at times sustained. The view is worth it though ;)
★We regret that due to misuse, the fireplace is no longer available to guests.

The major traffic routes are quickly accessed from where the house is located. The town of Cochrane is a short 7-minute drive where you will find anything you should need. There are interesting shops to check out in the historic downtown, fine dining, a movie theater, plenty of sports pubs, and a large sports complex with pool and activities perfect for families with kids. There are also many beautiful walks and hikes in close proximity to the property.
