My family moved from Lubec Maine to Pennsylvania when I was a year old and I didn't return until seven years ago. When I arrived in Lubec for my first visit as an adult I immediately fell in love with the area and felt homesick when I left. I knew someday I would make this my home again. I was fortunate enough to buy a house near Cutler in September 2017 and officially moved here in May 2018. I spent the summer learning how to manage vacation rental properties, waitressing in Lubec and exploring and hiking as much as possible. I am new here, so I am just as excited about the area as you are! I love talking to visitors and locals about their favorite things to do and places to go and really enjoy getting to share my adventures and favorite places with people. I acquired Away Downeast when the former owner retired and now manage several vacation rental properties in the Lubec area for their owners.
