Welcome to your private, recently renovated 2 bedroom self contained flat, literally less than a stones throw to the the beautiful shores of Lake Macquarie. From here you can enjoy safe swimming, sailing, skiing and fishing right at your doorstep. Want more?, you can enjoy 4WDs on local beaches and the nearby Watagan Mts with easy rainforest walks and picnic areas. Hunter Valley vineyards are 40 minutes with Newcastle port and its famous surf beaches only 25 minutes, so why aren't you here?

Accommodating 4 comfortably (6 with the double sofa) in 2 bedrooms (1 x queen, 1 x 2 singles or double) your private flat has aircon and ceiling fans throughout and a fully equipped kitchen. We supply linen, towels and bathroom supplies, picnic and fishing gear. There is so much to do around here that most of our holidays we stay home. You can do heaps or nothing, lay in the sun with a good book (supplied), netflix, PS3 , free wifi etc, or get up for early morning walks around the foreshore to witness some amazing sunrises and birdlife.

Hi, we've been married for 24 years with 2 children,. I've travelled extensively through Australia and neighbouring islands while my wife Lynne has travelled through Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Though you have private accommodation with your own entrance via a side gate and some steps, as the flat is part of our home, access is available through our home if necessary. We are usually at home if not at work. If you are new to this area and time permitting, we would love to show you around the beaches, mountains or the fabulous lake. We could rustle up some fishing or picnic gear, eskies etc to loan you. Tents are available if your kids want to camp in our large, fully fenced backyard. Sorry we can't accommodate your pets as we already have 1 dog (BIG), 4 hens, 6 birds and about 20 fish.
