Off season rate Oct-April. Check back in March 2021 for summer bookings.
Located on the ground floor of the Farmhouse with a patio entrance. Soft northwestern light filters through tall sash windows and French patio doors framing Turtleback Mountain and the goat pastures. Our rescued group of Nubian and Pygora goats as well as our two Romney rams graze right up to the patio and beg for your love. Dark stained concrete floors against the warm detailed wood interiors of pine and farm milled fir join together to create a simple palate. It is a spacious suite with room to lounge inside while having access to the outdoors just a step away. Just open the French doors and the sights and sounds of the farm and nature spill into the room. Relax outside on the patio with stunning late evening summer sunsets behind Turtleback Mountain and island vistas.
Features a queen pillow-top bed and a second queen bed is in a sleeping alcove in the main space not visible from the bedroom. The suite offers a kitchen and small dining area for four. TV monitor with smart DVD player. There is a collection of DVDs, classic board games, packs of cards and books to fill your downtime. It’s for the ‘kids’, though we won’t blame any adults for getting lost in the nostalgia.
Best suited to 2-3 adults or a family with up to 3 children. Not designed for more than 3 single adults.
The kitchen is equipped with an electric range/oven, coffee maker, stovetop kettle, toaster, deep kitchen sink, refrigerator/freezer, dish drying rack, and well stocked smallwares.

Experience our custom handcrafted design, furniture and architectural site elements all built right here by us on the farm. Found, collected, and created elements drive the creative designs of the suites. Many of the materials and fixtures are reclaimed and salvaged from the historic farm itself as well as other wide ranging design projects we’ve worked at in cities and towns up and down the west coast. From spaces such as 1900’s auto garages in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood to mid-century machines shops as far away as Reseda, California. These materials bring a long and storied past back to life. We are place of authenticity and originality without the unnecessary flare. With our farm as the canvas and backdrop our suites bring together an experiential vacation rooted in responsible travel.

その他の特記事項
This is a working farm and your common sense is greatly appreciated! There are noises and smells commonly found on farms. Plus we are working on projects, running machinery…. And well… operating the farm.
We grow specialty fruits and raise lots of birds for eggs. You can find our fruit and eggs at restaurants and markets on the island as well as some of the finest restaurants in Seattle. Or better yet get it directly from us during your stay on the farm. Fresh chicken, duck, and goose eggs available most of the year. Fruit usually begins the month of July, starting with peaches and plums, moving on to figs, apples, pears, quince and more!
We have lots of animals on the farm, including one of the friendliest pups, our herding and livestock guardian dog Audrey Hepburn. She loves everyone and won’t deny any belly rubs. The geese, ducks, turkeys, and chickens free range so they are often walking about in public spaces. If you don’t like animals… we are not the right match for you.
To reduce congestion, parking is available in a lot on the farm. You will need to walk in to your suite along a gravel path. Please let us know if you have mobility challenges and we can assist you.
Garbage Policy: Pack it in, pack it out. Leave no trace! Please remove your garbage and recycling from the property. We have compost bins in all the rooms for food waste, which can be left behind to feed to the chickens and ducks.
If you are a coffee connoisseur, please bring your own ground coffee for your suite.
One bath towel per person is provided. Extra towels available at a fee. This is not a hotel. No room or laundry services are included.
For guests with children ages 15 and under, we reserve the right to make changes to the rooms for protection against hard use and accidents.
We are on septic. This means absolutely nothing down the drains. More information provided upon arrival.
We are big into water conservation, especially during the extremely dry summer months. It’s a small island surrounded by saltwater. Freshwater is a cherished resource that is only replenished by the rain.
Our farm is gated and fenced to help keep our animals in and pesky deer and other non-farm animals out. Gates should always remain closed.
Cellphone service can be spotty on Orcas Island.

Located on the west side of the island on the private and sunny south western slopes of Mt. Woolard. Just two miles from the ferry landing, one mile from Westsound and only a 10 minute drive to Eastsound. An early island homestead, the farm has grown food and raised animals since the 1880’s.
