Larch Cottage has a cosy wood burner and a private garden which overlooks Loch Long and the magnificent Firth of Clyde on the Cowal Peninsula.. Ground Floor:
Open plan living space.
Living area: With wood burner, 32" Freeview TV, DVD player, iPod dock and CD player.
Dining area.
Kitchen area: With electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge and freezer.
Bedroom 1: With double bed.
Shower room: With shower cubicle and toilet.. First Floor:
Bedroom 2: With double bed and single bed.
Bedroom 3: With single bed.. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included, remainder at £5 per basket. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Shared utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. . Lawned garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture and BBQ. 3000 acres of shared natural grounds with BBQ. Shared use of on-site facilities including pool table and VisitScotland 5* outdoor activities which include quad biking, clay shooting and archery (15% reduced rates). Private parking for 2 cars, additional on road parking. No smoking. Please note: There are streams and sloping banks in the grounds. This property has a security deposit of £150.. Larch Cottage is a lovely detached property which sits on the hillside beside three other holiday cottages and the owner’s home overlooking Loch Long and the Firth of Clyde, near Dunoon and is situated within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Sited close to the Argyll Forest which offers numerous forest tracks, marked walks and cycleways, all easily accessible and right on your doorstep. The cottage has the additional benefit that it is only 150 yards to the shore where you can walk, fish, launch a canoe or just rest on the rocks, relax and enjoy the view.
Nearby, the magnificent woodland gardens at Benmore Botanic Gardens are well worth a visit while the town of Dunoon is within easy reach and has a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. Take a Steamer cruise and explore the hills and lochs of the Cowal Peninsula.
Known as Argyll’s secret coast the Cowal Peninsula is tucked away in a small corner of Argyll on the west coast of Scotland. Bordered by Loch Fyne and the Kyles of Bute, it’s an area of stunning natural beauty, with hills, glens, rugged coastlines, white beaches, clear waters and ancient forests.
Argyll’s secret coast is packed with places to visit and things to do, and sailors, walkers, cyclists and artists are all drawn to this area for its natural beauty. Explore the forests and coastline by foot, bike, kayak or boat.
