These are good representatives of closest to our home, a lot to chose from, We Wish You Happy Eating and Drinking in our hood. We also need to highlight some of our downtown and one restaurant at the mall.
Because we’ve just touched the tip of what Missoula is all about, lets move to Music at the historic Wilma Theater & downtown, 15 minute walk across the bridge- north on Higgins.
University of Montana, 15 minute walk on roads or trail- learning, lectures, art, athletics, music.
Clark Fork River, 3minute walk to trail- recreation, playgrounds, trails both sides of the river, our downtown gravitates to our river it is our lifeblood and is what makes Missoula special.
Our favorite restaurant in down town, is one of the best and not inexpensive, is Pearl Café- 231 East Front in our happening downtown, locally owned and the owner is either cooking or seating her patrons most of the time. This is money well spent if you like great food.
The other mention is at our local mall not an easy walk, but if you have a car, its worth considering eating at, again locally owned, The Mustard Seed-in Southgate Mall- Asian, good food, good pricing.
There is so much we haven’t mentioned, I can only tell you that the recurring themes are locally owned, A River Runs Thru it, learning, music, art and recreation. Missoula is turning into Montana’s micro brewing capital, and I’ve only mentioned one, check them out online they are all great and again locally owned.
Enjoy your stay in our home and Missoula.
There are maps of the surrounding area, over on the desk area in L.R. on this board, Missoula Magazine for 2018 on the coffee table to help you enjoy your stay.
