UNPLUG ~ Come enjoy R&R aboard a cruising sailboat. Sleep the best sleep. Make up your days as they come. Whether it's for Rest and Rejuvenation or Adventure in quiet, Exumas islands. Your experienced Captain is your guide and sailing coach. A maximum of 2 guests. Nights are spent in protected anchorages (no marinas). Weather determines activities: sailing, snorkeling, swimming, fishing, hiking. Take the helm, hoist the main, trim the sheets & learn all aspects of cruising.

Go sailing on a beautiful Morgan Classic 41 with your own Captain. Sleep like a baby aboard on a private oversized double bunk at anchor. Bahamas. Our anchorages are protected, primarily in Elizabeth Harbor, Georgetown, Exumas, and neighboring cays.
Explore above and below in the pristine, warm waters of the southern Bahamas.
Your attentive hosts love peace and quiet, as well as adventure & exploration & offer access to lots of activties ~ sailing, snorkeling, fishing, beach hopping, shopping Bahamian island hamlets ~ local crafts and art or creating safe space for you to do absolutely nothing ~ napping in a hammock on deck or in the spacious cockpit or on the beach. The sailboat is professionally maintained, owned and operated by a female American; USCG 100 Ton and Bahamian Class A Licensed Captain.
The boat offers a large cockpit, wheel steering, spacious decks & very clean quarters. At night, the sailboat is anchored in protected coves and harbors. Guests are ferried ashore aboard the boat's own tender. Full kitchen (galley), bath (head) with shower and on deck solar showers.

Low cost flights from US East Coast to Georgetown, Exumas. GGT Airport code, an alternative is fly to Nassau then onto to GGT.

Adventurer, Ocean Activist, Health Advocate & Sailor. I am an American born in NYC and raised on Long Island Sound. Sailing has always been an important part of my life and I love sharing the adventure. After a career in NYC in Advertising as a top food editor and stylist, I followed my dream to become a professional sailing Captain. I live aboard my sailboat, Shambala, a classic 41 foot sloop, sailing the most remote outer islands of the Bahamas throughout the winter, and spend summers teaching teenagers the joys of sailing and fishing in the Florida Keys. During the winter, December to June, I welcome guests aboard Shambala who wish to experience the lifestyle of a cruising sailor.
As a guest myself, I love quiet, cleanliness and a soft pillow in a comfy bed. A good game of Backgammon or Mexican Train Dominoes is always welcome. I'm easy going, respectful and laid back.
