Enjoy a retreat in this 4-bedroom century home, located on 8 acres with stunning views. This beautiful property is a short drive from world heritage sights, beaches, shopping, quaint South Shore villages and sightseeing - or is simply a serene place to savour the quiet life, sit by the pool and walk beside the ocean. The previous owners did a great job of updating the house while retaining its character. We have furnished it with selected pieces, along with new beds and a well-equipped kitchen.

The house includes a lovely pool, which is heated and nicely sheltered. The poolhouse, is in fact an original pioneer home from the 1830s which was moved from the property next door

>> For shopping, there is a general store 5 minutes away in Rose Bay which carries basic items along with alcoholic beverages; it also has a restaurant. Lunenburg (20 minutes away) has a couple of supermarkets, but for serious shopping you will need to drive to Bridgewater (30 minutes).
