This rustic lifestyle on a working wine farm, just 4km from the centre of Stellenbosch which makes it the ideal location. Enjoy the tranquility of the farm life and surroundings, yet close enough to experience the diversity that Stellenbosch town has to offer.

Sleeps 2 persons, perfect for couples, friends ,outside enthusiast, parents visiting students and travelers exploring the wine lands.
Chardonnay suite has a double bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, basin and toilet with door. Open area with a kitchenette . Private entrance , parking next to the suite, walking out on swimming pool and barbecue area. The kitchenette with sink, coffee plunger, kettle, toaster, egg boiler, frying pan, barbecue rooster/utensils, fridge, microwave, crockery/cutlery (no stove). You are welcome to explore the farm on foot and enjoy the scenery and bird life. Restaurant/wine tasting on farm. Middelvlei Estate is a completely gated property with quiet and tranquil surroundings, offering a heartwarming and peaceful stay, enjoy the silence by night and the farm noises by day .
This rustic studio ( was in the 1970's a pool house for the 5 Momberg siblings) situated alongside the main farm house (build in 1936) .

Guests can enjoy a wine tasting of Middelvlei award-winning wines made by my husband (Tinnie) . Experience a traditional meal (options for veg) at our restaurant or blend your own wine. Guests have access to the studio through a private entrance. You have full use of the swimming pool (shared with quests) U have your own private barbecue area. A remote is provided for the main gate of the Wine Estate and are free to come and go as you please. Self check in. Late check in is possible.

A gate you have to open yourself. Pool to be shared with other guests. Three friendly dogs Konjak (black male) and Tinky (black female) and Jana will welcome you.
My 2 accomodations are ideal to stay at for parents with children on university, weddings ect. During high season there is a possibly of loud music and sometimes power failures, loadshedding ESP Stellenbosch farmers (8) Self-checkin.
I would recommend a laptop if you want to watch movies ect. through Wifi .

On the farm there is a restaurant and wine tasting facility on the property where you can enjoy award-winning wines and a traditional barbecue meal (two additional menus for vegetarians). Wine blending experience. Only open for lunch kitchen closed at 3:00, tasting room open till 4:30.

During my time as an Airbnb host, I have always found great satisfaction from receiving and accommodating my guests. It is fundamentally important for me that my guests feel as comfortable as they do at home, both here on the farm. However, the current Covid-19 regulations impose a self check in/out which I add here to. This does not mean I no longer enjoy interacting with my guests!. Therefore I am completely available on my phone (Airbnb, whatsapp, SMS) to answer any queries you have.
