Our recently renovated family home is located in Cochrane - 30mins from Calgary & the Rocky Mountains in a gorgeous valley of the foothills. Great base for Stampede & mountain fun! Our home comes with full access to the main floor and upper floor, back yard, lower covered deck with hammock & propane fire to enjoy. Upper deck with BBQ - perfect for summer evenings to enjoy the view of the mountains. Cochrane is a modern, western town with a cute historic downtown with locally owned shops & eats.

We are located in an area that has walking paths throughout & two parks within a 5 minute walk. We live in a neighbourhood that thrives on community.
Our backyard, deck, dining room & master bedroom face southwest. This allows for sunshine all day while enjoying the yard, gorgeous sunsets and views of the Rocky Mountains and foot hills.
We will leave you with a welcome care package to ensure all your basics are taken care of - a little wine, a little local beer, some fresh fruit etc :).
The main floor has a large entry way, 1/2 bath, kitchen, living room and dining room. The kitchen has granite counter tops, tonnes of cupboards filled with everything you could want for cooking up a storm. The pantry is well stocked with basic baking & cooking supplies for your use.
There is a two sided fireplace between the living room and dining room.
The dining table can accommodate up to 8 people comfortably.
The living room has comfy seating to relax and lounge with a movie on Netflix or a book.
Our guests have access to all of our books, toys, puzzles & games. We just request that you do take care of them for us.
Upstairs are 4 bedrooms & two full bathrooms. The master suite is set up like a retreat. The hallway leading to the bedroom has the master bath (4 piece) is to the right and the walk in closet is to the left as you enter. The bedroom itself has a wall of windows and a reading nook for your use. The 4 poster bed is beautiful and so comfortable.
*Please note the sofa bed is only provided for guest stays of 7-8 people. If you would like this for a stay of 6 or less please touch base first :)*
If you plan to bring a pup along we do charge an additional flat fee of $150.

The community we live is great. Just outside of town on the way to the Rockies. Our neighbours are incredible people that are welcoming and helpful.
In our quiet area there are walking paths to explore and 2 great parks, a small fenced off leash park and field for all ages to play. These are all within a 5minute walk, max. There is a liquor store, coffee shop, variety store & Anytime Fitness gym are between 5-10min walk.
In town (approx 5min drive) our historic downtown has many locally owned and operated shops to enjoy, the farmers market & mini-markets to enjoy. There is everything from a beautiful local wine store that knows its stuff, amazing local restaurants, a few local breweries & a distillery, fast food, Walmart, a few groceries, gas stations etc. There is also a newly opened pool, water park, climbing wall, ice rinks about 10-15mim drive away (COVID policy dependent) Great for all ages. There are incredible walking paths along the river that are beautiful and allow you to walk for ever.
