If you are looking for peace and quiet, with easy access to a multitude of day walks, both coastal, forest and mountain, then The Innlet Studio Apartment is ideal for you. A private lawn and spacious surrounding grounds with a bbq.
Comfortable bed, good quality linen.
Ranch sliders off the living room on to lawn and the bedroom on to patio.
On cooler evenings fire up the log fire.
Washing machine and dryer are available across the lawn at manager's residence.

Enjoy our private 1 hour bush walk with fantastic panoramic Golden Bay views and stroll the 300 metres to the beach.

Many guests also use The Innlet as their base for a day walk around the northern end of the Abel Tasman National Park.
This is the least commercialised part and you can use a bus connection at Wainui Bay where you leave your car so that you have all day to walk back along the coast from Totaranui.

The Innlet is in a rural location, 300 metres from a beautiful sandy beach. Our back yard borders the Kahurangi National Park and we offer a 1 hour private bush walk with breath taking views down the middle of Golden Bay, from Farewell Spit to Separation Point. There is a large garden with a pristine forest stream, flowers, bbqs etc. 20 minutes drive brings you to some of the best rated day walks in New Zealand:
Wharariki Beach, Farewell Spit, Knuckle Hill, Moonlight Flat and the Aorere Goldfields.
Bring your kayak and we will set you off to explore the tidal estuary around Whanganui Inlet.

Katie and Jonathan have lived on this lifestyle property for 38 years. We are organic gardeners: vegetables, fruit trees, flowers and woodlots. Jonathan made furniture in the milking shed before we started our accommodation in 1992. First we built Ruru Cottage which became our home for 5 years while we developed our farm house villa as a hostel. By 2000 we had built our new house and added some apartments and cabins. More recently during the busy months we have been lucky to have fantastic managers: Dalia, Sandra and Roberto. Our interests include sailing and visiting our children and grand children in Australia. We are both widely travelled and enjoy sharing experiences with our guests.
