Castillito del Caribe is an Awesome Villa in a Perfect location - as demonstrated by our 5 Star Reviews! You'll be awed when you walk in the door and are met with an expansive view of the turquoise and sapphire Caribbean Sea, with waves breaking 12 feet from you. The views are simply stunning, the sea so close is magical as you fall asleep to the sound. This large villa is majestic, yet a warm and welcoming vacation rental that's great for extended families or groups.
Castillito del Caribe is located right on the Malecon, the perfect walking or running trail along the sea, or to take an easy stroll to breakfast, lunch or dinner. All the Isla Mujeres excitement is so close, but you'll be reluctant to leave this property. There are 4 terraces, 3 are on the East side of the property, all with spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea. The Rooftop terrace boasts views of BOTH the Caribbean and the Cancun city skyline - a fabulous spot for Sunsets and Stargazing!
The ground level terrace has an inviting Baja Shelf splash pool, with a Fountain and bubblers. It transforms into a stunning water feature when the lights come on at night. Bask with your favorite beverage in a lounge chair in the pool, sit for a relaxing soak or let the little ones enjoy the shallow area. A sweet second level morning coffee terrace is perfect for watching Isla Mujeres come to life at the start of each day.
A whole house water softener and UV sterilization & filtration system means that Castillito del Caribe's tap water is safe to drink & great to bathe in! Of course we provide bottled water for those guests who prefer it.
This rental is for a 4BR/4BA Villa and is exclusively rented as such during Peak Season. Outside those dates the property may be booked as a 4/4, 3/3, 2/2, or individual King Studio Suites. There are 4 separate AirBnB listings with pricing for each configuration. Floor plans are available for our all listings. Please submit an inquiry if you have questions.

This gorgeous villa is uniquely decorated with custom tapestries, each an individual work of an artist. Ceiling fans are generously placed, circulating gentle sea breezes throughout the home. Each suite has individual temperature controls - both A/C and quiet, high quality ceiling fans.
The second level Master Suites feature king beds, a full baths, kitchenettes with refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers and blenders along with living areas with spectacular Caribbean views.
The whole house features pressurized water and rain style shower heads in all bathrooms. Complementary high speed WiFi, flat screens TVs on both floors, along with comfortable high qualify furnishings, linens and warm decor.

The owners of Castillito del Caribe are Dawn Fleming and Tom Clifford. Dawn is originally from Minnesota, but lived in Orange, California for 20 years. She met Tom in 2000, who is from Newport Beach, CA. Tom & Dawn were married in 2003 in Cane Garden Bay, British Virgin Islands while chartering a 35′ sailboat for 16 days. Tom is a retired electrical engineer. Dawn is a former international business attorney, and strategic lifestyle planner. In 2010, Dawn and Tom sailed Santorini, a 50’ center cockpit ketch from SoCal, 5000 miles though the Panama Canal and relocated to Florida. They lived in Florida for 6 years, until June, 2017 when they sold their cars, most of their furniture and other belongings and moved to Isla Mujeres to live full time.
