Doors can be closed to stop animals going up. An extra bedroom is available upstairs. Upper area is shared with the owner who is friendly and very knowledgeable about the region. Host has own room but has entry and exit from external staircase. Guests can use whole house except hosts bedroom

There are sporting facilities available ie golf tennis bowls fishing bicycle tracks. Agnes Water/1770 is the closest point to the reef. And is the most northern surfing beach in Queensland
