A very cozy and peaceful place to base any vacation on the South Shore out of. Very close to hiking and ATV trails. No visible neighbors from the yard, lots of wildlife. Large parking areas. Interior is a mixture of new and re purposed materials. Appliances are small but functional, all the comforts of home but smaller. Double bed is incredibly comfortable. It is my home that I vacate for guests, and contains some sentimental decorations and items. It is my favorite place to be!

I love that I am only 30 minutes from the outskirts of Halifax, yet have 14 acres of woodland to relax on. Enjoy quiet evenings by the fire pit in a mosquito controlled area, or float in the pool with a cold beer during the day. Bedroom is sound proofed for long mornings of sleeping in.

During the summer, you will have access to additional fridge in the shed, along with a small washer and clothes line (cold water only). My personal items will be stored in the shed, but there will be additional room to store your empty suit cases etc., since space in the cottage is limited. Use of the fire pit is permitted and wood is provided Except when there is a fire ban in the area due to dry conditions, or high winds.

Cottage is located off secondary highway #3 in Simms Settlement, with highway 103 access about 6 km's in either direction. Several minutes from Hubbard's (where the famous Shore Club is located), and about 10 minutes from Chester. Close to Queensland beach, gas stations, grocery stores, hardware stores, and many gift shops. Only 30 minutes to Halifax, 15 minutes to Tantallon.

Since there is an entire property to care for, I will have to pop by to clean the pool, mow the lawn, and weed the gardens etc. I will make arrangements to do so with guests as not to disturb their privacy, and I will not come unannounced unless there is an emergency.
