The Atlantic is what you see the first thing in the morning from our over 100 year old Nova Scotian house. We take great care to keep the old part of the house as original as possible.
We live in the attached part of the house with our two 2 furry friends (who do not have access to the guest living quarters).

The Blue Cottage is connected to our house but has a separate entrance. Besides a living and dining room/kitchen there is a sun room overlooking the garden and a wooden deck for the warmer days. The property is fenced in and has a BBQ and various Adirondack chairs to relax in. We usually open the pool from June onwards. The water is not heated but still considerably warmer than the Atlantic :-)

Meisner Beach is just across the road and perfect for a morning stroll with a cup of tea :-)
The area is well known for hiking, cycling and kayaking. And this area is no exception to excellent dining and fresh produce in Nova Scotia

The house is on the famous Lighthouse Route and within 45 minutes drive to Halifax or Peggy's Cove, 10 minutes to Chester or Hubbards, where there are excellent Restaurants and Pubs.
