Located in "downtown" Hailey two blocks from a fabulous pub with local, organic food and a great coffee place! The upstairs of my house is yours! The rental rate includes the queen room, bathroom and sitting area ... there is an additional bedroom with two twin beds facing east for a sunny morning and is $25 extra/per night, please select 3 guests if you'd like to use the second bedroom. Entire upstairs is for guests (I only rent to one party at a time - you won't be sharing with anyone else).

My house is two blocks off of Main Street in Hailey and has quick access to the bike path that runs south to Bellevue and north beyond Ketchum - great for biking or walking in summer and it's groomed for Nordic skiing in winter. There are also great hiking and mountain biking trails nearby.
I do have a garage for storage of bikes or skis if needed.
I love great food and can recommend lots of places to eat (or exercise!) nearby.

Old Hailey, as it's called, is charming with lots of houses with front porches, kids and gardens. It's generally very quiet. There are lots of bunnies and squirrels running around, and actually, the occasional moose. It's more common to see them in spring or fall .... and on wildlife ... I do live on one of the "sheep corridors" .. which also mean that in spring and fall the local ranchers move their sheep through town with horses, herding dogs and guard dogs ... and early in the morning you might just catch sight of a few 100 sheep moving down the street.

I love home, but also love to travel. While I adore living within sight of the ski mountain ... I thrive on live music, art and theater. I work for an arts organization so am lucky enough to be surrounded by visual art (and kids visiting our museum) all day .. and then to book music and film for my job.
Having great food and friends to share it with is huge .... and I love great experiences. Traveling to bike or ski in Italy have been lifetime highlights, but I'm also happy sitting by an Idaho lake or river too.
Clean cotton sheets and a comfortable bed at the end of a busy day are critical.
I travel with my own pillow.

I'm really easy going and am generally up early and home late. I will likely not be on site to greet guests. I will have detailed instructions on how to get in (and will let you know when I will likely appear!) I work in the arts so have many evening activities that keep me from getting home too early.
