Eating out is popular in Paddington – but if you’re after groceries, the good people at the Woolies Metro will be pleased to help. For larger shopping centres, Bondi Junction and the city aren’t far away.
Paddington’s bohemian roots are on show every Saturday, when the Paddington Markets pop up in the grounds of the Uniting Church on Oxford Street. The markets have been running since 1973 (making them even older than some of the vintage jackets up for sale).
Paddington is nestled neatly between Woollahra, Edgecliff, Rushcutters Bay, Surry Hills and Darlinghurst.
