Cozy cabin on six acres at the gateway to the North Georgia mountains, just minutes from hiking, fishing, paddling, antiquing, motorcycling, tubing and much more! Five miles from Alpine Helen, just two miles from Sautee-Nacoochee's Arts Community and less than a mile from the Old Sautee Store! For kayakers, you are five minutes drive to Section 1 of the Chattahoochee River.
Nearby is Unicoi State Park, Anna Ruby Falls, and many hiking trails, beautiful waterfalls and parks.

The bedroom has a private entrance and is completely separate from the main chalet. There is an additional sitting room through French doors. Parking is right outside a second private entrance to the sitting room. The photos of the cabin show a barn star on the exterior as well as this entrance. On arrival it is very easy to just park below the barn star.
The space is ideal for its privacy. Access to the main kitchen and living room is by a covered porch. The sitting room has a large couch while the bedroom has a smaller love seat with pillows and a cozy blanket. Both rooms each have an attached and private bathroom.
The cabins were built thirty plus years ago by the owner of Yonah Sawmill; there is lots of cedar and knotty pine.

Little Hawk Cabins have been a weekend project and retreat for the last nine years. We hike, paddle the Chattahoochee, explore the many waterfalls, grill, make s'mores with ever evolving marshmallow toasting stick technology, relax and unwind. We travel frequently and are always humbly learning about our culture. We have a home in rural Lazio, Italy and have learned Italian...well because you need to communicate to eat (and the food is fabulous). The rural experience there led to getting involved in the culture of North Georgia. I have seen bears on the property four times in the last nine years and guests have seen two others. It is always a treat. Sautee Nacoochee has a rich Cherokee history. There is much to share.
