This is a new beautiful home with a salt water plunge pool for your use only. Built by a well known Architect with Exquisite details and a spectacular view, Serene, lavish gardens, near the town and the beach. A secluded and private home you can dub as a "mini-villa"

Upper Casita Azulejos is located close enough to town to walk 5 minutes and far enough away that you are not in the center of it all.
Town has many great shops to find authentic Mexican crafts, surfboard rentals, restaurants and bars.
The neighborhood of Casita Azulejos is unique because most of my neighbors are locals that have lived there for generations. It is close enough to town to run down for something you forgot at the store and be back in ten minutes. You can walk down to check the surf with a cup of coffee before breakfast. Around 4 o'clock in the afternoon there is a crazy parrot frenzy in the trees every day , sometimes in the morning too.

About Belle Marko I am a native of San Francisco, living just north in Marin County, California. I grew up hearing my mother tell tales of living in Mexico and going to art school in Guadalajara during the 50's, it always sounded so romantic and adventurous. I guess it got into my blood somehow. Today, I am a painting contractor with a degree in fine art and interior design. I too now have that special place in Mexico that I call my home away from home. I love to surf and swim in the warm water of Sayulita or the cool rivers of California. I enjoy doing improvements each time I visit my home in Mexico as much as enjoy my life in California, I'd say I have the best of both worlds. I purchased this house in 2004 When I first stepped out of the jeep in the pouring rain in 2000 onto the plaza of Sayulita, It hit me - I had to have a place here, it instantly felt familiar. I later had a conversation on the beach with a man named Javier (d-2005) he explained to me that there are places on the earth that call to certain people, I knew this was one of those places for me. Never once have I had buyers remorse or any regret, Sayulita has a spirit about it that holds me, feeds me and is a place to call home. The people are special, the food is some of the best I've ever had, the sounds at night, the waves to surf, the fireflies in October, the interesting people that dare to come here all make a magic thing, I hope you feel it too. What makes this house unique? Most of all I love how I slow down to human-speed when I'm here in Sayulita, The outdoor shower and jungle garden are a few of my favorite things about Casita Azulejos, I love reading my book in the hammock or falling asleep on the beach and not even having to get up from my towel to find lunch, the tamale lady magically appears just as I begin to get hungry, I love the early morning light as it hits the front veranda or walking down to the beach for a dawn patrol surf session. I love the man down the street cooking chicken and singing, I even love that darn gas truck with it's obnoxious tune - or the roosters any time of the day (or night), I love my neighbors and friends that I've gotten to know over the years, I love all the music and the fish. I love walking to the graveyard, I love the way the Mexican people seem to celebrate anything! I love to hear little kids running in the plaza and laughing, I love snorkeling off the Marieta Islands or riding Manuel's horses to see the sunset on the beach or taking a boat with Tigre to a hard to find surf break in a secret cove, I love the random fireworks for no apparent reason or the rogue carnival that comes to town. I love the shrimp truck, the vegi truck, the plastic broom truck, the fruit truck, the recycle truck..I love doing Yoga up on the bluff under the palapa in Shelly's class - the iguanas and geckos and birds, but most of all I love the way Casita Azulejos feels like a home.

I like to allow my guests their privacy, I do not live on the premises, but have a local property manager to check in with you in the beginning of your stay to make sure you are settling in. I also provide my guests with a list of my favorite restaurants and activities. I'm reachable by email or text if need be, but otherwise will leave you alone to enjoy and relax.
