Welcome to the East End! This is Portland's premiere neighborhood, known for its convenience, free parking, and charm.
It's a historic area with mostly older buildings. This space is very comfortable and full of sunlight. Relax on the couches and read in the sun or with a 5-10 minute walk be at your fill of award winning restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, the beach, a running/biking trail, and the Old Port! Perfect for one person, a couple, or a few friends!

The building is older so it has a funky charm, but the bathroom was recently remodeled! It's a very pleasant space and extremely welcoming. It instantly feels like home when you walk in. Keep in mind it's a one bedroom unit with a queen bed, a queen air mattress, and a couch (not a sleeper sofa).

There is a back patio area that you can go to have a drink outdoors and relax in the shade, but most guests prefer to walk down to the beach or sit out in the sun at the coffee shop, ice cream shop, or one of the local restaurants/breweries/etc.

Parking is on the street but it's free. The only restriction in that neighborhood is on Tuesdays during the winter months, just check the signs and you'll be fine.

One of the top neighborhoods in Portland. It's extremely convenient, and is close to a ton of great restaurants, music venues, etc.

I've lived in Maine my whole life, and the city of Portland for over 11 years. Originally in the West End, then the East End, and now in the Bayside/Deering neighborhood. My full time job is real estate but I have a strong interest in fitness and health as well. The city has a fantastic music scene, friendly locals and some of the best restaurants in the US. There are lots of active things to do throughout the area and I'm happy to show guests around when I have the chance! Don't hesitate to ask me about places to eat, see, dance, explore, hike, walk, bike, etc. As a traveler, I pack light and tend to visit places where I can stay with friends. But when the couch doesn't work, I obviously use AirBnB! Between New Zealand, Mexico, Australia, England, Canada, and an assortment of other spots, I would have a tough time picking my favorite. I've hosted guests from all over the world and I hope to make my way to more of their countries as well!
