Restful peaceful and quiet my house is set in the forest yet close to town.
I have another room listed separately "Comfy single room with kauri tree view." Wake to the sound of native birds calling and see pigeons - kereru - tui and fantails as they dip and glide over the house. Kiwi call at night and sometimes come to your window.
Please note that the house is about a 40 minute walk from the bus stop. I might be able to pick you up. Contact me.

お部屋
This is a smaller house made of solid wood and its bush setting gives it the feel of a tramping hut on a trail. Its sunny and warm and has a heat pump for winter warmth.
Its is very quiet and peaceful and almost retreat like yet it is very close to the centre of town.
ゲストの立ち入り範囲
You will be able to access the whole house except for my bedroom. You can wander down a little track to the little stream at the bottom of the garden.
Please don't drive up my drive unless you are a pretty good driver. Reversing down it can be a bit tricky especially in the dark...or I will do it for you.

I love being an Air BnB host. The guests are always so interesting and diverse and I feel as if I am travelling the world from my lounge. I retired last year from teaching but this year am working two days a week teaching. I know! It's a bit silly. My three daughters have left home but we maintain very close and loving relationships. I have one grandchild who is the joy of my life! Swimming, gardening, walking and reading are my main interests...and I have been known to burst into song for no real reason at all. If I annoy you when singing just tell me to to pipe down. I'm used to it!
