I love having meal and communicating with travelers from all over the world.
This house is surrounded by rice fields and mountains. Only one train and bus come an hour. There are not famous tourist spots near immediately. It was an encounter with the first guest to have changed me who thought that there was not any charm here.
"The scenery of the rice fields is splendid"; "This setting sun is the best"; " It is the best luxury that there is nothing other than nature"!
I was puzzled over their words. But my viewpoint turned big by it.
Yes! That`s really beautiful! Rice fields, the setting sun, seasonal fragrance of the air and the wind.
This is true Japanese charm, and luxurious! Isn`t it? I became able to think so.

We can enjoy the terrific night with fun conversation, drinking, understanding each other.
In summer, I go and get genuine bamboo with guests and make long pipe with it then carry away 'Somen nagashi' (Running Somen noodle in flowing water) in my garden. In the short season of firefly we go firefly watching.
