Retro Coconut is on the ground floor. There are no stairs to access the carpark or pool.
One of five apartments in the our Retro Port Douglas collection, Retro Coconut is styled around the "Cosmic Desert" wallpaper by Hygge & West. The furnishings have been carefully selected - some we have lovingly restored.
Retro Coconut has a separate bedroom. The opening between the bedroom and living area -- which can be closed with sliding shutters -- gives the apartment a lovely airy feel. The balcony has a hanging chair ideal for a relaxing afternoon reading a book. The lounge suite is also a divan and converts to a very comfortable queen bed with memory foam mattress.
Retro Coconut has the latest technology including unlimited high-speed WiFi, Smart TV with Netflix, and a Bose MP3 player. It also has a washing machine and dryer.
The kitchen features induction cooking, oven, Smeg appliances and a De Longhi espresso machine.
For those with infants, we can supply a cot, cot linen, a stroller, a high chair, plastic bath, potty and beach toys.
Guests have one covered carpark and access to the pool-side barbecue.
Shuttle buses run regularly from Port Douglas Village along the full length of Davidson St. There is a stop near our front door. These buses are great (and cheap!) for visiting The Wildlife Habitat, Oaks Resort, the Mirage Resort, and other attractions further from the village.
