We live in the part of Bela Vista known as "Bixiga": it's one of the most traditional neighborhoods of Sao Paulo, who was raised by a strong presence of Italians.
The apartment is located next to the Achiropita's Festival, which has existed for over 90 years and takes place every year, during August.
The Italian heritage remains spread in the neighborhood, with a well-known and extensive network of business establishments serving typical food from that country, as well as a Brazilian Northeastern restaurant nearby.
The neighborhood is located only a 10-minute walk from the Sao Paulo's downtown, Roosevelt Square, Consolation Church, and Ipiranga Avenue. It's situated only 20 minutes from Paulista Avenue and MASP, and there are four close theaters - Sergio Cardoso, Maria Della Costa, Oficina and Brigadeiro, as well as supermarkets, gas stations, banks, pet shops and gyms: the "Smart Fit" gym of Pedroso St., for example, is located only 15 minutes of walking. There are also nearby hospitals, nightclubs, theaters, cinemas and historic churches, a BHU and an easily accessed Frei Caneca Shopping Mall.
Patio Paulista is also a nearby shopping mall, which has movie theaters and a square of food truck beside. The Paulista Avenue is opened for public recreation on Sundays, and, during the Carnival in February/March, there are street blocks passing in front of the apartment.

One of us (João) is an English speaker, and both of us have flexible schedules, so you can count on us to help you with your stay.
We are friendly and always have subjects to talk about, for those guests who are talkative. However, if you prefer privacy, don't get worry: we are discrete, and the apartment is silent.
