Sleeping in is easy if time permits because the peak faces north west and has little morning light, and plenty in the afternoon depending on the time of year. Providing quiet peacefulness with a view of the woods. Guests are welcome to select a comfortable spot among the many nooks that can be found within our mini arboretum. Cooking and dining spaces are shared family style. Our yard is your yard to enjoy, sunny and shady spots depending on your mood.

Adjacent to a nature preserve. Quiet dead end street. Two miles to the nearest parkway. Ten minutes to the shore. Five minutes to the train station (that connects with JFK airport). About forty five minutes to NYC by train or car!

We are the Green House. Green is a color, a food, a flower, a tree, power, a positive movement. We kayak the bays and bike the trails for pleasure and exercise. Our villa is on the edge of the woods in a quiet hood. We enjoy gardening, interior design, art. We are outgoing folks with room to share. Helping travelers feel welcome and comfortable is just what we do. We respect all our guests and ask for the same in return. We only speak english and we hope you do too.
