This is a rustic chalet with a private bathroom. It has AC and it is located in Rio Grande P.R. Perfect for nature lovers, travelers visiting the rainforest and people who enjoy the wonders of nature and a simple life-style.
If you are looking to experience a rainforest getaway or simply want to be surrounded by nature and it's elements; you will enjoy staying in this small chalet.

This chalet has a beautiful view, it has a birdwatching wooden terrace which is surrounded by nature: El Yunque Rainforest flora & fauna. It is very rustic and simple, the chalet is made of concrete but "swiss style". Guests have access to a big yard with tropical plants & flowers. The private road is paved and very safe; located in a gated community with very few neighbors and controlled access.
It features a coffee maker, small fridge and a electric burner. Guests can make coffee and keep food/beverages in the fridge.
note: the bathroom has no tiles: plain concrete, painted dark red. The shower is made of plain concrete and painted white.
Good and convenient for light cooking.

The chalet has a lovely outdoor porch with a dining table, the floor has clay colored tiles. It also has a wooden birdwatching terrace just in front of the porch. The main room has AC, 2 couches ( 1 large-1 small ) and a queen size bed with 2 night tables with reading lamps. The bedroom's floor has dark brown tiles that resemble wood, it also has a few rugs. The chalet has a coffee maker, a small fridge and a electric burner; it has glasses, cups, plates. Guests are able to make coffee and keep some food and beverage in the fridge. There is a parking spot meant exclusively for guests right in front of the chalet.
note: bathroom area has no tiles, the floor is plain concrete, painted dark red. The shower is completely made of concrete and painted white.
Guests can hike in the private road for exercise, sightseeing or outdoor rainforest experience/activities.

I have rescued pets ( dogs, cats and horses ) so you must be sure you are OK having them around the property.
This listing is located in rainforest territory, guests are likely to find lizards, frogs and other fauna while in the property; it's important to keep this in mind before booking since not everyone is comfortable around said creatures. If you are lucky, you might get to see a "coqui" which is a famous small frog native to Puerto Rico and a protected species.
Do not expect luxury, it's important that guests who book know that it is a rustic, simple and nature friendly experience rather than a luxurious experience.
No WiFi in the property available.
If you do not feel comfortable with being surrounded by nature and it's elements/creatures, this is not the place for you.
The main room has 2 old style wooden windows that are not meant to be opened. They are for decorative purposes.

Our road is private with a security gate and controlled access, only about 5 families live in the area. Beautiful unspoiled road, nice for hiking, cycling, sight-seeing and other fun outdoor activities. Very quiet, peaceful and SAFE neighborhood.

If I am not around for any reason, guests can contact me by phone or messages. My two daughters work in the property and around the yard so you might see them around the place and they can always help you if need any help or have any shortcomings.
