This classic kiwi beach house apartment is only meters from the sea and has commanding 180 degree views from the north to west and to the south, allowing all day sun all year round. Stormy seas are as captivating as the perfect sun drenched days. The property is the only one in the bay that allows drive on beach front access as well as being only 40 meters from the boat launching ramp. There is ample parking on the property.
The owners apartment is located above and access is available to the deck and dining area there. It is unlikely that the owners will be present during your stay.

We occasionally have little blue penguins paying a visit at night, looking for a roost or nest and they can be noisy. A family is often in residence under the deck next to the house. This is a rare treat. They are a protected species along with the Weka and Wood Pigeon in the grounds and trees, they enhance the experience.

We live away from the property, in Nelson area. We are happy to be contacted and would like to know as soon as possible if anything is out of order. We rely on guest feed back to ensure all facilities are operational. The house will be dark if you arrive late and a torch or light would be advisable to assist in key location.
