Walk to the stadium/concert/theatre! Just steps from the University of Montana, we invite you to enjoy the basement apartment in our mountain home at the base of Mt. Sentinel in the University District! Two bedrooms, bathroom with shower, living room with futon couch and laundry/kitchenette. Everything you need to enjoy your stay in the heart of beautiful Missoula!

Located in the heart of the University District (just two blocks from campus) and nestled at the base of Mt. Sentinel, this basement apartment has a rustic cabin feel which completes the nature setting perfectly. Surrounded by trees and nature, you will see deer right along our property almost daily, and yet, we're just a short distance away from the Clark Fork River, Downtown, great restaurants, concerts, and more! Our property is a half-acre of treed mountain side, with outdoor adirondack chairs, and patio furniture to enjoy while you are here.
The apartment has everything you would find at a hotel and more! The kitchenette area works well for preparing cold foods & snacks and re-heating and storing foods. It comes equipped with a microwave, toaster, mini-fridge, coffee pot, hot water kettle, cutting board & knives, plates, bowls, cups, & utensils. We also provide a selection of coffee and teas, sugar, salt & pepper.

Enjoy the guest apartment in the basement of our house with a private entrance on the side of the house; the entire downstairs is yours! Feel free to enjoy the outdoor spaces, decks, and Mt. Sentinel trail access just two houses down from our home.

Only one parking spot available in the driveway; street parking is permit only. If bringing more than one car, please let us know in advance so we can discuss options with you.

Our home is located in the University District, nestled right up against beautiful Mt. Sentinel (the one with the "M"). Enjoy walking to the University, the Hip Strip, or Downtown. Bonner Park, with a great playground and splash park is only a few blocks away (and if you are here during the summer, be sure to check out the free outdoor concerts at Bonner!). Our property is completely fenced and treed in all around; you will feel like you are stepping into a forested park as you enter the yard and leave the University District behind. Beautiful nature and convenience all in one!

Our family lives upstairs on the main level of the house, so if there is anything you need, we will be here to help. Looking for the perfect restaurant? Want to find some places only locals know about? Looking for some suggestions for hikes, river floats, or fishing? We are here and happy to share our favorites! We also have five kids and are familiar with many kid-friendly opportunities, so please ask for ideas. And don't be surprised if you see our kids around the yard while you are here; they love being outdoors too!
