Charming Cottage on Organic Farm, in a secluded location overlooking the magical Wairoa Gorge River and native forest with abundant bird life.
This peaceful, private paradise is located 45 minutes from Nelson in the Wairoa Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
The farm consists of river flats, steeper hills, an olive grove, fruit and nut trees and is grazed with cattle and sheep.
We welcome you to come, relax, enjoy the river and it's surroundings.

The Cottage has open plan living with wood burner and well equipped kitchen.
The deck overlooks the river.
There is a double, pull out sofa bed with narrow mattress in the living area.
The small bedroom has two single beds.
On the mezzanine floor, there is a double mattress and a king single mattress.
The mezzanine floor has a low ceiling and access is via a narrow ladder. Please take care when using the ladder.
The bathroom has a bath with shower over it.
There is a separate toilet.
The cottage is suitable for four people but if necessary can sleep six people.

Available space is the Cottage and area around it and the river area. The short track to the river is just in front of the cottage. The steps to the river are a little steep. Please take care.

Please note that WiFi is available at the Farm house or adjacent shed at 188 Andrews Road at the end of the road, not in the Airbnb itself.
Breakfast is not provided.
The towns of Brightwater and Wakefield are about 20 minutes away. They both have Four Square supermarkets.
Richmond Town Centre is about 25minutes away and has Pak'n Save and Fresh Choice supermarkets.
The last few kilometers of the road are unsealed.
There is a gate at the bridge on Andrews road to open and shut.
This is a working farm so day to day activities go on each day. Great care is taken to accommodate your privacy.
Some times there may be extra gates to open and shut re grazing of the animals.
As the property is close to the river it's a good idea to bring insect repellent.
There is no TV provided.
Mobile coverage is poor but usually I can receive texts but may have to reply with an email.
