It is a standalone building. Just a 700m walk to town, boasting 7 incredibly delicious cafés, boutique shops, bars, supermarkets & restaurants. Fresh coffee is a short 250m stroll, as well as the beautiful Tom Grant Drive park walk. Hobbiton tour buses leave from Matamata, or you can drive yourself.

Single bedroom in spacious family home. Enjoy dinner with our family and breakfast is included also. Matamata is central to our beautiful region. Visit Tauranga, Rotorua, Hamilton, and Waitomo Caves from here. We have great hiking and cycling trails nearby ( bike hire just around the corner). Hobbiton is 15 minutes drive from here, or 5 mins walk to the shuttle bus stop at the isite. Wander our large garden, cuddle our cats and check out our turtles. The room is suitable for one guest only.
