We will meet at Whitworth Locke Hotel, Co Working space. Such a great space to host our experience. We will begin by having a chat about Manchester, the first industrial city in the world. The significance of the stylised flower mosaics, and why the architect Alfred Waterhouse incorporated them into the stunning mosaic floor of Manchester Town Hall. These designs are placed alongside a hive of bee mosaics. There will be examples of the stylized flower mosaics for inspiration. I will guide you through the mosaic process and techniques, sharing all my skills and tips. The tiles we will use to create our mosaic are a gorgeous unglazed porcelain ceramic. There will a be a variety of tiles in various colours for you to choose from. By the end of the experience you'll have your own unique Manchester flower mosaic that will last forever. The experience is a fab way to spend an afternoon. You’ll find the time passes really quickly and your mind will relax during the creative process. Other things to note Do have a look at the reviews on my other experience Make a Manchester Bee mosaic.

Andyとエール&路地散策
We are a social enterprise that trains those who have experienced homelessness to become walking tour guides. In the 1980s, Andy and his pals fell in love with Manchester’s bustling nightlife and rock music scene. Today he guides you across the city taking the very same route of his night’s out in the 1980s, but this time reflecting on how the venues have played a significant role in shaping Manchester’s history. Guests will leave with a unique and personal insight into Manchester's history and homelessness. Other things to note: The great British pub is a hallmark of our society and culture, serving both positive and negative connotations. The tour discusses themes of drinking and alcohol but there is no drinking whilst on the tour. We hope that instead, the tour will help spread awareness about the link between alcoholism and homelessness.

Walking through the history of Manchester
Join me on a historical walk through the streets of Manchester where I will identify buildings and people that inspired Manchester’s growth. On our journey I will take us through the history of Manchester from the 18th century to the present day learning how Manchester actually developed as an industrious link to the world. Your knowledge of Manchester will be expanded through my own first-hand experience, love and dedication to Manchester. We begin at one of Manchester’s oldest and newly renovated buildings the Manchester Central Library which starts our adventure in 1934 when the building was completed. We will then travel back in time on our walk through the 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st century on a circular route which will last approx. 2/3 hours returning to the Manchester Central library. We will then make our way back and into the library for refreshments in the café where we can discuss our adventure, ask questions and also do any research while in the library. I look forward to sharing with you all my experiences and knowledge of Manchester a city that has inspired me to research and study it's prolific and amazing history. Our experience will be unique and filled with fascinating facts that not many will be aware off which I have learnt along my journey of Manchester. When we have finished our day together, please share your experiences with old and new friends!
Built This City from Depression with Ste
We are a social enterprise that trains those who have experienced homelessness to become walking tour guides. Stephen came to Manchester as a young boy and became homeless as a teenager. We Built This City is an alternative walking tour that gives an insight into the issues surrounding class and social deprivation from the 18th century to the modern-day. Ste shares his memories of homelessness and poverty, relating his own experiences to the less well-known history of Manchester. This tour will take you on an extraordinary journey of other young people from Manchester’s past that have suffered. With each step that Ste takes, the city’s past starts to live and breathe again, unveiling the cobbled streets and working people that made Manchester what it is today.
