In this workshop, we'll make hand-shaped orecchiette pasta and a bright, delicious tomato sauce for lunch, and creme brulee for dessert. This class will be very hands-on as everyone will be shaping a portion of pasta and torching their own creme brulee!
I have worked as a professional pastry chef at Radius, one of Boston's fine dining restaurants, sold pastries to cafés and individuals, baked dozens of cookies for Audubon Society bake sales, and I now host monthly cooking and baking workshops with neighbors in my home. My classes have included both sweet and savory dishes, like fresh pasta, steamed dumplings, donuts, and baklava.
All ingredients are included.
Coffee, tea, and water will be served while we prepare the meal, and wine will be served with lunch.
Aprons will be provided during the workshop, and you'll have a physical copy of the recipe to take home with you.
The workshop will take place in my home, where we will gather around my kitchen island and stove to make the pasta, sauce, and dessert, and then sit together at a long communal table to enjoy our meal!
