Take a 1.5-hour-long exclusive, behind-the-scenes sanctuary tour where you’ll experience gorgeous views of the rolling hills and open desert and, of course, have plenty of time with the rescued animals who call Farm Sanctuary home. We’ll start by meeting the sheep and goats in their cozy barn–among them Maria, the darling of the herd who was rescued from a life of horror and abuse at a backyard butcher and who now enjoys getting back scratches and being the star of your next Instagram post! Next, come watch our incredible pigs snuggle together, play in the mud, and roll onto their sides for their favorite treat...belly rubs! Finally, we’ll meet the cows–like Bruno, who fell out of a moving transport truck onto the highway when he was a calf and who is now, at 13 years old and over 2,000 lbs, the leader of the herd. But don’t be fooled by his size, Bruno is a love-bug and, if you’re lucky, you might get a big kiss from him! Farm Life is unpredictable: depending on the day, your behind the scenes tour may include brushing the cows, feeding treats to the sheep or visiting new animals who are not on the regular tour route. Meeting these animals and experiencing the Farm Sanctuary life is an otherworldly, beautiful experience and we promise you will leave moved by their stories and, more importantly, their ability to love and forgive.
Meet the animals
This cuddly crew includes Bruno the steer, Grace the goat, Von D the pig, Lola the pig, Pamela the turkey, and Ash the sheep. Despite their challenging beginnings, they love hanging out with new friends and old, and even posing for selfies.
