Explore London’s magical & historic Highgate Woods, via this unique, mixed-ability, headphone-fitness workout in the forest. Following the aerobic curve, to Drum & Bass & Jungle music, in the heart of London. This mixed ability, achievable & fun workout is for you, whatever your fitness level. As long as you can dance & brisk walk or run around 1KM. I will give you a receiver, into which you can plug your own (aux cable NOT bluetooth or i phone) headphones, or I will lend you some ear bud style headphones. I will then broadcast the class to you. Immerse yourself in the natural world in an exciting new way: light-hearted, playful fitness! Session includes: A tiny bit of running, around 1 KM total. Drum & Bass style dance cardio routines (both of which you can take at your own pace). Fun strength work, the odd game, tone & stretch. Imagine a gym where instead of staring up at a low ceiling you can stretch staring at a kestrel flying overhead, or the swaying canopy. Welcome to Jungle Runners. The session is around 75 mins. Then we sometimes head to the cafe in the woods for a cuppa or some food depending on the time of day , & what the group fancies. (not included in price)

I am a born & bred Londoner. I love our city’s beautiful wild spaces, which I share a tiny bit of in this creative, fun & connecting experience, in the heart of London. We’ll do funky dance routines, games and more, woven between short runs to special spots in the woodland . Followed by a peaceful stretch. Then we head to the cafe for a cuppa, depending on what we all feel like. Every session is different & an adventure. Sometimes we do seasonal themed events (halloween is amazing). We usually find something interesting, & have a great time dancing, training, relaxing & making new friends.
