We'll meet up at the marina and board the boat. After a short introduction and safety discussion everyone will get settled comfortably and Capt. Scott and Connie will maneuver the vessel out into the channel. As you proceed out into Budd Inlet you may participate in the sailing activity by raising the sails and trimming them properly. Then take a turn at the wheel. Others prefer to stay comfortably seated and enjoy the beauty of the bay while being served beverages and snacks. Capt. Scott and Connie are available then to share their knowledge with guests and to give everyone a chance to have the experience they are looking for. If we have kids aboard, we make the cruise very kid friendly, drawing them out and letting them participate, all the while watching our for their safety. By the allotted time, we'll return to the dock and everyone disembarks. By this time we've all become good friends and everyone carries away a warm feeling of accomplishment.
Capt. Scott and Connie have recently returned from a 6 year stint, sailing their ocean going sailboat in Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska, BC and WA State. We are now sharing our passions with others by offering sailing adventures and sailing lessons. Capt. Scott has a USCG 6-pack Captain's license and has taught sailing for many years. Connie is a musician and sailor who loves entertaining and sharing her water knowledge. We love interacting with all kinds of people and make it our goal to create a fun, safe, and meaningful experience for everyone aboard. All generations are welcome, from Grandma and Grandpa, to parents, to singles, to kids of all ages. Our unique niche is that our Passport 42 cutter rigged sloop is an ocean going vessel, a stable platform, and the boat that many people dream of setting of on to sail the world.
All charters come with choice of snacks and beverages. Longer trips include meals. We have life jackets to fit all ages and…
We'll motor out into the bay, then raise the sails and explore the beautiful Inlet, looking for seals, jellyfish, eagles, snow capped mountains, and glorious sunsets.
Bring your sunglasses, a cap, wind/rain coats and warm clothing because it's about 5 degrees cooler on the water. You may bring additional food and beverages if you wish, though we provide snacks and drinks.
