Tea Ceremony is approximately one hour. We begin by sitting on either pillows or blankets on the floor, quieting our minds and body, with mindful breath and quiet music. I then begin to skillfully brew and pour pure organic Tea, mindfully curated in high altitude mountains, sharing Tea Legacy. You will be offered a guided meditation. Four to five pours (brews) will be offered. If desired, a longer ceremony can be arranged, offering 2-3 varieties of teas. Towards the end of the ceremony, you are welcome to ask questions and share (if you wish) your experience.
I am a Tea Sommelier, with 4 Certifications in Tea Legacy and Traditional Sacred Tea Ceremony. Sitting with Tea in mindfulness has changed my life in so many beautiful ways. I began Tea Ceremony 4 years ago, and from the very first I held the clay Tea bowl in my hands, breathing in the fragrant steam, taking in my first sip, I knew that the Way of Tea; "Tao Cha", was the way for me. Since that first moment, each day I continue to explore in each cup, the true story of Tea. Drinking tea establishes a connection of Man and Nature. Tea is a teacher, a Nature Spirit, and companion. It is a Spiritual Elixir, beverage and medicine. Formerly, a Yoga instructor for 35years, experienced in facilitating sacred ceremonies for special occasions, naturally poised me for this special gift to share with you!
Pure 100% Organic Artisan Tea mindfully curated in small Tea Gardens in Taiwan, China and Japan.
Tea Ceremony is held in a safe and sweet studio, located in the heart of Taos. On occasions, Tea Ceremony can be held in special out door space, which is my secret place amongst nature, when weather permits.
Tea Ceremony typically is held sitting on the ground, on either blankets, pillows, or rugs. Wear clothing you can sit comfortably in, arrive with your bladder empty.
