Yvonne Och Peter
Hi, Peter and Yvonne here, we are your local guides who wants to share our love for the Swedish nature and outdoor experiences. Take part of the pleasure of being in the nature and how it connects with us, it is the meaning of life itself. We offer nature experiences based on the key words; trying, learning, living outdoor. You will explore Vättlefjäll nature reserve only 20 minutes from Gothenburg city and learn the art of cooking your own food over an open fire. The two of us are educated in ecotourism ("responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment, sustains the well-being of the local people, and involves interpretation and education" (TIES, 2015)). We have also been certificated in Sustainable Tourism by the GSTC who sets the baseline of standard
In the beginning we will serve you a "swedish fika" with coffee, tea or/and water and of course a wonderful cinnamon bun!…
If you arrive to Olofstorp with bus, we will transport you with our car to the nature reserve
We will provide you with backpacks, packed with what is necessary for the current trip.
The tour take place in one of the larger open-air recreation areas in the region. In the area there are several medieval farms and the plan are to visit two av them: Björsjöbacka with ancestry from the 1200s and Björsjöbacka where there is animal husbandry today managed by the local people J-O and Daniel. The day ends by visiting a beautiful place with an open fireplace outdoors for making dinner.
