According to the ancient history, in the 7th century BC, a tribe who settled in Sarayburnu call the opposite shores name as “The Blind’s Country (Khalkedon)”. Hello, I am Deniz. I am a sociologist living in Kadikoy since I was born. I have finished my master studies from Istanbul Bilgi University, Sociology Department recently. Currently I am working in a congress organization company as a project assistant and I am a PhD student in sociology program. Kadikoy is one of the most important venues in Istanbul with a dynamic neighborhood, which is the scene of the daily life of the locals.
