We will explore beautiful pockets of the English countryside which are rarely visited by non-locals. As we pass through hilly woodland, open farmland, meadows and streams you will enjoy a carefully constructed tasting menu, full of culinary concoctions I have designed to complement and enhance the experience of the landscape.
I've grown up in the English countryside, and know it inside out. I have an in depth knowledge of the animals, birds, plants, edible foods and general way of life out here. I also pride myself on being a good chef, and enjoy experimenting with new dishes, new ingredients and new styles. I have worked in the restaurant industry both in London and in Guatemala, in consultancy and supplier-focused roles. Aside from this, I'm an aspiring writer/filmmaker, and love to travel.
We'll be in and around Burgh Wood, near the village of Etchingham. The region is an 'area of outstanding natural beauty', and has plenty of woodland, farmland, streams, lakes, birds, animals, wildflowers... Your trip will also include a stop at East Sussex's highest waterfall. Hidden deep in the woods, our waterfall is often lacking in large quantities of water, but is a dramatic plant-covered rock formation nonetheless.
Feel free to ask me any questions about the experience! And tell me your likes and interests, so we can have the best possible experience.
