In this one-of-a-kind Chicago River experience, we'll make use of a water taxi ferry boat to escape downtown to a neighborhood brewery. Spending 40 minutes boating, we’ll pass some of Chicago's most beautiful and historic buildings as well as undeveloped “wild” portions of the river. I am not so much a tour guide as I am your friend in Chicago showing off the best parts of the city in a way only a local would do. Our destination is one of Chicago's most unique and creative breweries. Carving their own path in a metro region with close to 200 breweries, you will not find an IPA among the brewer's award winning selection of beers. The brewery we visit distinguishes themselves with a focus on the fermentation process and barrel aging. I'll pick up the first round, give a short brewery introduction, and then we'll soak up the sun and suds on the patio. After our first round, you are welcome to stay and sample other beers (they are always experimenting with new styles) or I can provide suggestions for other breweries and craft beer bars to visit. We are just a short cab or train ride back downtown or to another brewery. Let's do this! All aboard!

We will start downtown on the Chicago river and travel by boat to a brewery that specializes in small batch creative beers. On warmer days we'll soak up the sun on the boat deck and the brewery's patio . On less favorable weather days there are indoor options on the boat and brewery.
Our tour involves stairs and 1/2 mile of walking. Cocktails are available for purchase for those that do not drink beer. Most boats have a bathroom on board but it is not guaranteed.
