Since i know Athen’s waters like the back of my hand, let me guide you to my favorite local spot! The experience takes place far from the sand touristic beaches at a place that many call it "secret beach".(swimmers are also welcomed) We will make our way to Vouliagmeni area, which is famous for its lake, located at the east coast. The water there is famous for being exceptionally clear. This activity is different from mere snorkeling. We walk down few steps made on natural rock and we will choose our favorite spot on the rocks. We will spread down our bathing towel and warm up before jumping in the water! Eco means we leave only our footprints, avoid to use a lot of sun lotion and if we see garbage we collect it! Once in we wear our snorkeling equipment (mask/fins) the program is semi-flexible meaning you can either follow me in some interesting spots* or just explore by yourself the whole arena: >Discover underwater life such as silver and colorful fish, sea urchins, starfish, crabs and other Mediterranean's local species. >The underwater well that connects Vouliagmeni lake with the sea. In this natural hole we can see divers practicing in free diving!! Feel free to swim, take photos or just grab a beer in near-by beach bar!!

"My mission is to support people to transform from tourists to adventure travelers" Experienced trekker, sportsman, amateur photographer and nature enthusiast.I do practice regularly pool & free water swimming, trail running, hiking. I have been hiking around Athens for a decade but also love swimming, snorkeling. Participated in many triathlons, aquathlons and open water swimming contests ! As you can see, I have limited availability in activities as I do not see it as a profession but as an opportunity to practice my passion and make new friends! I look forward to share the secret diamonds of the city with you!
Vouliagmeni is a seaside suburb and former municipality 20 km south of Athens city centre. It is bisected by a palm tree lined boulevard, Athinas Avenue that runs parallel to the seashore and continues southwards. The area east of the main road is the rocky slope of a foothill of Mount Hymettus. The area is far from the nearest metro or tram station so the best way to come there is by car.
