We will meet at ticket gate of Hatagaya station, which is 2 stops away from Shinjuku station. Shinjuku is one of the most exciting city in Tokyo and is close to many sightseeing places. We will first go to a supermarket to look around (You can purchase food and household goods for yourselves if you like. All the necessary ingredients for the class will be purchased in advance). After shopping, we will move to Mayumi's Kitchen, where our hands-on cooking classes are offered. The class will start from explanation of Dashi, Japanese soup base. And then we will move on to cooking. If you are a group of four or if you reserve the whole class, we are happy to respond to your requests of menus including vegetarian and/or gluten free menus. The class will take about 3 to 4 hours including shopping, cooking and tasting. We will prepare aprons and towels for you. Printed recipes will be handed so that you can refer later when you go back home.
