Design and create your very own bespoke jewellery piece, with us at the stunning new Whitworth Locke. We provide you with a range of tools, and support with any design or making advice and instruction. Bespoke pieces are crafted in jewellers wax, by you, our guest, at the event. Once complete, and you're happy with the finished wax, we then set the casting wheels in motion. Each wax is individually packed, complete with your finishing guidelines, and shipped to our casting workshop in the heart of Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter. There, our expert team 'lost wax cast' each piece in solid Gold, Silver, or Platinum. Once cast, we meticulously finish each piece by hand and return, design to doorstep, within 3 weeks! CAST is a jewellery making experience. The event is a platform to design, and create, high quality, bespoke jewellery pieces. It is also, and more importantly, an opportunity to socialise, eat, drink, create and collaborate, in an entirely new way. Beautiful, bespoke jewellery pieces, can now be handmade by regular people, with no or little experience, and any level of creativity, in the most exciting of spaces, anywhere in the world!
I have designed and presented jewellery collections at both London and Paris Fashion Week. My background is in Football (I played professionally in England, Spain and the US), but have worked in design, alongside my equally talented brother Luke, since 2011. Together, we founded CAST, an award-winning jewellery making workshop. We have delivered over 400 events since 2016, cast over 5000 bespoke jewellery items, hosted in 21 different UK cities, and the best part, worked with and met, so many talented people! If not by Luke or I, this experience will be hosted by our supremely talented Manchester host, Sally.
