This tour is both about going to explore and take pictures in the city's most "instagrammable" spots and discovering insights on Milanese and Italian culture, so that you will also have a unique perspective into what Milan is like for a native Italian. I will show you my favourite places in Milan and I will guide you through squares, alleys and streets. Both the most touristic and the less known ones. I will support you in taking pictures in the "instagrammable" spots we will visit, so that you will have a nice souvenir of the visit in Milan. You will have the opportunity to interact with a local (me) and discover new aspects about the city and how living in Milan is like. This experience is suitable for those who are willing to have an AUTHENTIC experience in Milan with a local that makes you discover the hidden treasures of the city and Italian culture. You will receive a more detailed schedule one day or some hours before the experience takes place, depending on the time you booked, so that you will have in advance a clearer view and organise yourself in a better way.
Hi everyone ! I moved to Milan 7 years ago, from my hometown Genoa, to fulfill my studies in Economics and Management for Art, Culture and Communication and then in Marketing Management. I still go back and forth between these two cities, but Milan is the place where I live and work. I like socializing and meeting new people, because I love getting in touch with different cultures that enrich my life. I definitely love art, travelling and photography. When I moved to Milan, I suddenly fell in love with the dynamicity of this city which is Italy's New York, so that now I love showing to people visiting Milan the beauty of the city where I live. Our journey will start at Porta Ticinese, one of the historic medieval point of access to the Old Town. Then, we will get to some hidden squares and alleys that will lead us to unveil hidden treasures of the city. We are going to reach different neighbourhoods from the most ancient one (Old Town) to the modern one (Brera and Duomo) to the most contemporary one, like Porta Garibaldi (Gae Aulenti and Bosco Verticale).
