Join me on a guided scenic hiking adventure of Port Moody’s beautiful Buntzen Lake! I will meet you at the Inlet skytrain station in Port Moody and I will chauffeur the group to Buntzen Lake. If you have access to a vehicle, we can meet at the bus stop which is located between the parking lot and the entrance to south beach. We will pass the south beach and dogs off-leash area enroute to the Buntzen Lake trail head. Once bottled water has been distributed and the safety and housekeeping rules have been shared, we will then set out on our hike. Upon arriving at the half-way mark, we will be able to enjoy a healthy, delicious lunch while chatting, enjoying the scenery, and taking photos. When we return to the beach area, there will be an opportunity for each person to share his/her feedback. After enjoying a complimentary, refreshing cold snack, the group will be chauffeured back to the Inlet skytrain station.
Hiking along Vancouver's varied trails has been a passion of mine for the last 15 years. I have since begun to invite my friends to join in these experiences, where they in turn have shared these same vistas with their friends and family. I feel tremendously fortunate to have such a vast number of memorable hiking options here in my beautiful back yard. When I feel the need for a peaceful getaway and rejuvenating exercise , Buntzen Lake is my go-to choice.
