Two of the most authentic and interesting neighborhoods to explore in San Francisco is by far Chinatown and neighbouring North Beach. Together with your local expert host and guides, you'll meander the narrow alleyways and streets of these two colourful neighbourhoods taking in the sights, sounds, and smells that arise in the second denses neighborhood in America! We'll visit a local tea shop for a tea tasting, get our fortune read at the oldest Chinese temple in America, taste a chinese pastry, make a fortune cookie and by the end of the tour, you'll feel right at home amongst the temples, cafes, bakeries and street art!
Hello, I'm Christian, one of the co-founders of San Francisco Urban Adventures! After years of working in tourism and traveling throughout the Americas, San Francisco won my heart for keeps. Since moving to the city 10 years ago I started my own tour company so that I can share these unique local experiences and showcase the awesomeness that is San Francisco. I love showing others the hidden gems of this amazing city and would love for you to join me and our guides on a local experience!

In Chinatown we will look at the murals and street art and talk about the history of Chinese immigration and the Gold Rush and culture in San Francisco as we walk by Chinese businesses. In North Beach, we'll visit some local shops and reveal how the early Italian community contributed to the growth of San Francisco.
