You'll be virtually transported and introduced to "La Bella Vita" (a beautiful life) with an "Aperitivo" ritual aka know as a pre-dinner drink or happy hour. Prepare your tastebuds for a night out in the terrace, sipping on a glass of prosecco or a traditional Italian signature aperitivo cocktail. (Italian sprtizer is based on bitter alcohols like Campari and Aperol, and is the signature Italian aperitif), wonderful for each moment of the day! Accompanied by high quality cheeses including Parmiggiano, olives, Prosciutto, and salami (Italian dry-cured ham & cured sausage). We will chat about DC, its restaurants and local markets. I will share with you some insider tips for the rest of your night and stay in DC. If cooking is a passion of yours I'll gladly share some of the secrets of Italian cooking too. "Cin- cin" Italians say “cheers” in two ways, “Salute” in an informal situation or “Cin cin” in a more formal context. Some great Italian drinking toasts or cheers besides salute are “cento di questi giorni” or “cent' anni”.
