Atithi Devo Bhava! We prepare the mood for a nice and healthy meal. For starters you will be offered (Tea/ Coffee/ Cold Drink/ Fresh Lime Soda) any on your arrival. We provide breakfast/lunch/dinner as per your choice as described during the booking. You are free to come join me in the kitchen to see how it's actually done. Believe me it's a combination of art and patience. I’ll help you understand the process. Our menu for every meal is as follows Breakfast Option 1 1.Poha: Flattened Rice flakes saluted with some veggies 2.Jalebi: deep fried flour batter in circular shape, which then soaked in sugar syrup. 3.Samosa: fried dish with a savoury filling, such as spiced potatoes, peas, peanut served with coriander & tomato sauce. Option 2 1.Stuffed Paratha served with curd. 2.Stuffed Kachori. 3.Shahi tukda: Sugar syrup coated bread Lunch/Dinner 1.Dal fry: Lentils and pulses boiled and sauted with dry red chilly, onion, tomato, some spices. 2.Jeera rice: Boiled rice fried with cumin seeds. 3.Tava roti 4.Any seasonal vegetable that is available during the season. 5.Mushroom matar/paneer veg: mushrooms, peas or paneer sautéed in cashew paste along with other ingredients make it really creamy and rich. 6.Raita made with curd. 7.Sweet 8.Salad 9.Papad: is a crispy flatbread prepared using black gram bean flour, rice flour, or lentil flour. 10.Jaggery: to end the meal.
Hi, I am Pragya, your host, chef and a culinary expert for the experience! While my qualification makes me an engineer, experience makes me a manufacturing industry professional, my passion makes me a “home-grown” chef! I have been fortunate enough to be taught by my mother from a very young age and by my mother-in-law after I got married – because that is how cooking for others became my expression of love and generosity! I have currently taken a break from my professional career to share the experiences that have shaped me as a person in the form of “cooking and serving meals”. Because when I cook and serve the dishes that I grew up with, I find it particularly meaningful to trace back the history behind the ingredients and the techniques used in the recipe. So come and join me in cooking and sharing these wholesome meals.
We will meet at my home in Goa and cooking a meal with the basic kitchen amenities and some relaxing music to set the ambience.
We are providing breakfast (option 1 or option 2), lunch & dinner, guests should inform what option they want to go for. Also please inform in advance if allergic to anything.
