We will take a short walk around Fun Frolic Farm and see the gardens, along with some native and medicinal plants used on the farm. Next we will visit the barn to meet the dairy goats that provide milk for our soap, lotion and farmstead cheeses, as well as our flock of laying hens. You will have the opportunity to try your hand at milking one of our goats, collecting eggs if there are any. We will also discuss animal health and husbandry, feeding, pasture management and answer any questions you may have about goats and farming. We will finish the tour with a tasting of the weeks cheese and a brief tour of the soap making area and future shop for farm goods! This experience is an introduction to the homestead lifestyle!
