We meet at the Mikumi main gate 0830 hrs, we will use an open safari 4x4 vehicle for the game drive which allows you to get a clear view of various animals including the big 5 except the rhino. You will also have a chance to get off the vehicle and take picture by the side of the hippo pool with a beautiful view around. 1100 we will have a short break within the park and we will continue after 20 minutes. You’ll be likely to see lions and cheetahs. You will later get a chance to climb a 250+ year old baobab tree which is about 250-300 years, also get to enjoy the landscape full of baobabs, acacias, tamarind and some rare palm trees. The drive ends at 1430 hrs, we then go for lunch and finish by a visit to the snake park.

Mikumi national park is the fourth largest national park in Tanzania. It has various animals including lions, cheetahs, elephants and buffalos. It is a home for many other animals such as impala, giraffe, hippopotamus and wildebeest. Mikumi landscape is full of baobabs, acacias, tamarind and some rare palm trees. Mikumi snake park is also found in Mikumi town and has many kind snakes such as black mamba, crocodiles and other reptiles.
